Love the high tech, clean, new facility. Employees were all friendly, helpful and solicitous. My only complaint - and this is very minor - is sitting in the chair, with my grotesque facial expression having x-rays in my mouth in full view of the lobby entry door and people at the entry counter,. This was NOT the case once I was reclined for cleaning, but I felt there should be more patient privacy in the chair. Turning the chair around 180 degrees might accomplish this. -via

Composite Fillings

When plaque and bacteria erode tooth enamel, they can form cavities and areas of decay in the tooth structure. Left unchecked, this can destroy the sensitive nerves and root structure of teeth. Our composite resin fillings are placed to stop cavities and restore the bite surface. During the procedure, the decay and only a minimal amount of the original tooth structure will be removed. Composite resin fillings appear natural and are virtually undetectable in your smile. Even if you have previously placed metal fillings, they can be removed and replaced with composite tooth-colored fillings that are beautiful and metal free. Click here to learn more.

Porcelain Crowns

Unlike metal-based crowns of the past, our all-ceramic crowns are crafted using layers of porcelain that not only protect the remaining tooth structure but look more realistic than past restorations. In much the same way that porcelain dental veneers are crafted, the porcelain is layered to create the most realistic ceramic restoration. Because of this careful process, light is able to move through the semi-translucent material in much the same way as natural teeth. Porcelain is also extremely strong and durable and will last for years to come.

Metal-based crowns have also been known to erode along the gumline, exposing a dark line of metal at the base of the tooth. We use only metal-free crowns in our restorative dentistry procedures. Our patients often report that friends and family can’t tell their crowns from their natural teeth, and that they are confident their bite is stronger because of the porcelain crowns. I am scared of dentist. point, blank, period. I been waiting to get a tooth pulled. Put it off for months and months. Finally the pain became to much and had no choice but to go. I researched dentists close in proximity to my home through google. Riverwalk was my choice because of how they talked to me, pricing because I didn't have insurance, and actually called me back. I decided to schedule my appointment. I came in and filled paperwork out and was in a chair within 10 minutes. My first contact was the Office Assistant Janet, she was very friendly and even set up my room and did my x-rays. I met with Margarita and Dr. Bidkar; they were both very welcoming, listened intently and were very professional. My hygienist was awesome because she gave off the best energy which really helped with my anxiety and fear. I was so scared to the point I wanted to back out because my tooth wasn't hurting at the moment. Margarita literally let me squeeze her hand while they were numbing my mouth. Funny thing is it didn't even hurt. Like at all lol. I didn't even feel the tooth being pulled out. WISH I WOULD HAVE DONE THIS A LONG TIME AGO. When I left the office, I felt as if I had been a patient for years. I would highly recommend the office to anyone. In fact my mom is there right now having a implant put in. I started going to Riverwalk Dental about 1 month ago. I got full set of x rays, then needed a tooth pulled and bone graft. Today I had deep cleaning on left side of mouth. Right side 2 weeks. The Dr. was very thorough and did a painless job. Costs were average for this type of dental work( I had gone to 2 others). I recommend this dental office and found staff very friendly as well. I had chipped a tooth on Sunday night, and panicked as I was to start work in the morning. It turned out I had someone cover for me at work, and I called first thing in the morning to Riverwalk Dental, they asked if I could come in right away. I walked out with a temporary covering over the chipped tooth and did not look like I had a big gap in my mouth that looked really bad.. They will replace the tooth on Friday. I cannot thank them enough for their really quick service, kindness and patience!

The Dr. and staff are great, the work done on was extensive but Pain Free and the Dental Hygienist has the most gentle touch I have ever experienced. I had an appointment for a teeth cleaning the day before Thanksgiving, and being bound to a wheelchair with no family nearby I took a taxicab to the appointment. After my cleaning was done I called the taxi Co. to return home after waiting for over an hour the office manager called what seemed to be every taxi co. in the area but with the holiday activities I was still stranded, tired and hungry as it was now about 6:00 pm. The Dr. had her husband come to the office and drive me home. I cannot express the gratitude I felt for the kindness shown by everyone. I would highly recommend Riverwalk Dental Group.
